SCARA TECHNOLOGY
Planmeca's patented SCARA technology optimizes rotational movement during the X-ray exposure. SCARA (Selectively Compliant Articulated Robot Arm) technology includes a robotic arm that can produce any needed movement pattern – leading to the best possible geometry for anatomically-correct panoramic and CBCT images. -
BITEWING PROGRAM

CEPHALOMETRIC
With the included 2D cephalometric functionality, this dental X-ray machine delivers multiple cephalometric image formats with ceph field sizes up to 30 x 27 cm. The ProMax 3D Classic pan-ceph system scans the patient's head horizontally when capturing ceph images with a narrow x-ray beam for lower effective dose. -
MEDIUM FOV CONE BEAM
The Planmeca ProMax 3D Classic pan-ceph X-ray machine features small (5 x 5 cm) to medium (8 x 8 cm) field of view dental cone beam for single tooth to dual jaw imaging. ULTRA LOW DOSE 3D
Available with select Planmeca CBCT units, the Planmeca Ultra Low Dose 3D imaging protocol delivers high quality cone beam dental scans with less radiation than 2D panoramic X-rays. (NOTE: Subject to availability.) -
HIGH DEFINITION 3D
